[Doha – 24.01.2024] — Rawabi Group of Companies proudly inaugurated the “Flavours of India” festival at Rawabi Hypermarket Izghawa on January 24, 2024, in celebration of the 75th Republic Day of India. He was welcomed by MP Mohammed Abdullah, Managing Director of Al Rawabi Group, Mr. Ajmal Abdullah, Executive Director of Al Rawabi Group, and Mr. Kannu Baker, General Manager of Al Rawabi Group, along with other distinguished guests.

The festival aims to showcase the cultural heritage of India, offering a unique and immersive experience to shoppers. Over 700 Indian products are highlighted in special displays, with a dedicated “Food Bazar” offering traditional Indian cuisines and street food. The event also features a mass showcase of millet and millet-based products.

Ambassador Vipul, in his address, emphasized the growing commercial ties between Qatar and India. He praised Rawabi Group of Companies for its pivotal role in fostering the Qatar-India commercial relationship. A cake-cutting ceremony marked the occasion, with Ambassador Vipul briefing the audience about special products and highlighting the importance of incorporating millets into daily food habits.

Ajmal Abdullah, during the inauguration, stated, “Rawabi Group is at the forefront of India-Qatar trade, importing a range of Indian products through our extensive network of food sourcing and logistics centers across India. ‘Flavours of India’ is a testament to our commitment to providing shoppers with an amazing Indian shopping experience.”

The festival showcases a diverse range of food products, agri-produce, meat, and trendy high-street fashion. Running until January 30th, “Flavours of India” spans across all Rawabi stores in Qatar and online.

As an added attraction, Rawabi is presenting the “10 20 30” offer, featuring incredible deals on a vast array of products, valid from 25th January to 7th February 2024.
